Hewlett Packard (HP) is persisting in its legal quest to recover up to $4 billion from the estate of late British billionaire, Mike Lynch, in connection with disputed allegations of fraud over the sale of UK tech firm Autonomy.

HP, which acquired Autonomy for $11.1 billion in 2011, in one of the UK's largest tech deals, alleges that Lynch inflated the company's value fraudulently. In 2022, HP won a civil case against Lynch; however, the damages were less than the $5 billion initially claimed.

The late Lynch had consistently denied any misconduct.

While HP may face challenges in its legal battle with Lynch's estate, the company remains committed to growth and innovation, expanding into new markets and prioritising sustainability in its operations.
